Stefanie Rocknak is a sculptor and philosopher whose figurative work explores narrative, movement, and the psychological presence of the human form. Working in wood, clay and bronze, she is known for expressive, large-scale sculpture and public monuments that bring literary and historical figures into contemporary public space.
Her public monuments include Melville and Jonah’s Journey (New Bedford, 2026) and Poe Returning to Boston (Boston, 2014). Her work is represented in public and private collections, including the Smithsonian’s National Native American Veterans Memorial Digital Archive, the Mariners’ Museum, and the Poe Museum, Richmond, VA.
