| This section was carved out using a chisel and hammer. I envision more power tools in my future, if only to pick up the pace. | |||||||||||||||

| In these two shots, you can see that I have begun to commit to the face. Establishing the position of the head will help guide me through the rest of the piece. But I have also sketched her right body-profile--I will stick fairly close to this plan throughout. | |||||||||||||||
