This piece is part of a commissioned piece, "The Triathlete." These arms will be mounted below the biker's head. (see the overall plan)

Looking at what will be the fists, the shift levers and the brake handles.

The basic idea of the brake handles/bars

Here is the last photo with the brake bars attached. I quickly realized that I would not be able to properly carve the hands and arms with them in place, so I carefully chopped them off. I will peg and glue them back on only after the rest of the sculpture is complete.
